The Kingston Trio
Jan 10, 2027
Two shows: 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Classic folk harmonies and songs from the American folk revival return to the stage with The Kingston Trio. The Kingston Trio takes place Sunday, January 10, 2027 at 7 p.m. at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, presented by the City of Aventura. The concert revisits the group’s best-known songs, including “Tom Dooley,” “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” “Scotch and Soda” and “M.T.A.”
The current lineup features Mike Marvin, Tim Gorelangton and Paul Robinson, each with personal or musical connections to the original Kingston Trio. Marvin is the adopted son of founding member Nick Reynolds, who also served as his musical mentor, while Gorelangton was a longtime friend of Reynolds and recorded with him. Robinson has toured and recorded widely, including work with Dan Hicks and Sons of the Kingston Trio.
The performance offers an evening of familiar songs, stories and vocal arrangements connected to the group’s role in shaping popular folk music for generations of listeners.
