The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System

Ms. Frizzle and her class trade the school bus for a journey through space in a family musical that combines science, songs and interplanetary adventure. Presented Saturday, February 6, at Miami Theater Center in Miami Shores, the production is part of MTC’s 2026–27 Family Series and is based on the long-running Scholastic book series.
After a wrong turn on the way to the planetarium sends the class into the solar system, the students must work together to navigate their way home. Along the way, the story uses planets, space travel and teamwork to introduce scientific ideas through music and theatrical storytelling.
The stage adaptation brings the familiar characters and educational spirit of The Magic School Bus to live theater, pairing classroom curiosity with an imaginative trip beyond Earth.
