The Moth StorySLAM: Home for the Holidays
Nov 19, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Holiday reunions, family tensions and moments of belonging provide the theme for an evening of true, personal storytelling. The Moth StorySLAM: Home for the Holidays takes place Thursday, November 19 at Sandrell Rivers Theater in Liberty City.
The open-mic competition invites participants to prepare a five-minute story drawn from their own lives and sign up for a chance to tell it onstage. The holiday theme welcomes experiences ranging from unexpected reunions and chaotic gatherings to quieter celebrations, exploring the humor, heartbreak and nostalgia surrounding the season. Stories about holidays throughout the year are welcome. Audience members can participate as storytellers or attend to listen.
Tickets are $20.75 and are available through the theater’s ticketing platform.
