The Psychedelic Furs with Special Guests Living Colour

The Psychedelic Furs bring their atmospheric post-punk and new wave catalog to The Fillmore Miami Beach, joined by genre-crossing rock band Living Colour. The Saturday, April 10 concert is part of a rescheduled 2027 tour pairing the two veteran bands for a run of North American dates.

Formed in London in 1977 and led by brothers Richard and Tim Butler, The Psychedelic Furs emerged from the British post-punk scene with a sound that evolved from art rock into a more melodic blend of new wave and alternative rock. Their catalog includes “Love My Way,” “The Ghost in You,” “Heaven” and “Pretty in Pink,” the latter lending its name to John Hughes’ 1986 film.

Living Colour formed in New York in the 1980s around guitarist Vernon Reid, combining hard rock and metal with funk, jazz and other influences. The band’s 1988 debut, Vivid, introduced “Cult of Personality,” which earned a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance, followed by a second Grammy for the album Time’s Up. Vocalist Corey Glover, drummer Will Calhoun and bassist Doug Wimbish round out the current lineup with Reid.
