A cult musical comedy spills beyond the screen as a live cast performs alongside the film beneath the Banyan Bowl. The annual screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show takes place Friday, October 2 at Pinecrest Gardens, with audience participation and a costume contest offering cash prizes. The film follows newly engaged couple Brad and Janet into the eccentric world of Dr. Frank-N-Furter after a roadside breakdown leads them to a mysterious castle filled with music, science-fiction parody and elaborate characters.
A VIP cocktail experience includes a cast meet-and-greet, signature drink, popcorn and preferred seating. Concessions will offer snacks, cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages, and costumes are encouraged.
The film is rated R, and guests younger than 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Outside food, drinks and chairs are not permitted. Free parking is available on-site.
