The Suicide Machines: Celebrating 30 Years of Destruction By Definition
Sep 09, 2026
Starting: 7:30 PM
Ska-punk rhythms, hardcore intensity and politically charged songs drive a 30th-anniversary concert at Churchill’s Pub in Little Haiti. The performance takes place Wednesday, September 9, with The Suicide Machines revisiting the era of their 1996 debut album, Destruction by Definition. Breakeven Booking presents the 18-and-older show.
Formed in Detroit in 1991, The Suicide Machines blend punk, ska and hardcore across a catalog led by founding vocalist Jason Navarro. Destruction by Definition brought the band national attention with fast, melodic songs including “No Face” and remains a defining release of the 1990s ska-punk revival.
Austin hardcore band Mugger opens the concert with a direct, groove-heavy sound rooted in the genre’s community-minded ethos. The group features members of Creepoid, Radioactivity and The Well.
