Third Thursdays: Sound in the Round

Spatial sound and architecture intersect in an immersive listening program inside The Bass Rotunda in Miami Beach. Presented Thursday, June 17 as part of the museum’s Third Thursdays series, Sound in the Round explores how sound changes in relation to physical space, with performances and listening experiences developed in partnership with MUD Foundation.

The ongoing program brings together sound artists, musicians, singing bowl practitioners and other participants working across experimental and contemplative sound practices. Specific performers and set times for the June installment will be announced.

Admission is free with RSVP, with capacity available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event coincides with the City of Miami Beach Culture Crawl, which includes complimentary trolley service among participating arts and cultural destinations.
