Trisha Brown Dance Company
Apr 17, 2027
From: 7:00 PM to 8:40 PM
Trisha Brown Dance Company brings a program of postmodern dance to The Moss Center, joined by Miami-based Syncopate Collective. The Saturday, April 17 performance features three works by choreographer Trisha Brown, whose movement language and collaborations with visual artists and composers helped reshape contemporary dance in the late 20th century.
The program includes Solo Olos (1976), Son of Gone Fishin’ (1981) and Working Title (1985), spanning nearly a decade of Brown’s choreography. Her work is known for fluid movement, shifting spatial relationships and an experimental approach developed through collaborations with artists including Robert Rauschenberg, Donald Judd and composer Robert Ashley.
Syncopate Collective appears as a special guest, bringing one of Brown’s works into dialogue with Miami’s contemporary dance community. Student tickets are available for $10 with valid ID.
