Ultra Music Festival

Ultra Music Festival

Bayfront Park

Mar 25 - 27, 2022

Learn all you need to know about this year’s Ultra Music Festival, one of the best music festivals in Florida.

After a year of experimentation in a new location on Virginia Key, Ultra Music Festival returns to its longtime home at Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park from March 20-22, 2020 for its 22nd edition promising a pulsating, three-day immersive electronic dance party like no other. The unique setting of Downtown Miami’s skyscrapers and Biscayne Bay’s waterfront makes for an amazing atmosphere to listen to the biggest names in electronic dance music.

The Festival

The festival draws more than 70,000 party people from over 100 countries who relish in a euphoric dance experience with major pyrotechnics and laser shows across multiple stages. “Ultra has made so many people happy, including myself,” says Armin Van Buuren, international DJ and Ultra regular. “It’s a celebration of life, it’s a celebration of the young, the new, the fresh.”

Musicians choose Ultra Music Festival to debut new music because of its vast international audience, so festivalgoers are amongst the first to hear the latest soon-to-be hits before they hit the radio. Every single stage is packed with the best EDM talent spanning the globe. No matter which stage you stumble upon, you’ll be exposed to the beats that you’ll be thumping to for the rest of the year.

The Lineup

Every genre of electronic dance music is represented, from progressive house to big room, techno, trance, dubstep and more. With the Phase 2 lineup out, Ultra will bring over 200 artists to its stages in Downtown Miami. DJ headliners include superstar acts like Van Buuren, Afrojack, Carl Cox, David Guetta and Richie Hawtin along with breakout stars like Martin Garrix, Kygo, DJ Snake and Above & Beyond. The festival also features live headliners, including Flume, Gesaffelstein, Zedd and Major Lazer. More details including set times will be announced with the Phase 3 lineup soon.

With multiple stages promising different immersive experiences, stage-hopping is a must. Bounce from the Main Stage to the World Stage, the Live Stage, the Carl Cox Megastructure, Resistance Miami and back again, soaking up the good vibes.

Tips for Party People

Be prepared for sunshine and warm temperatures. Note that lightweight, breathable clothing is best (neon and rave costumes are encouraged!). Wear sunscreen and stay hydrated. There are free water stations to refill reusable water bottles throughout the grounds. You can also purchase food and alcohol onsite. Don’t fall prey to pickpockets—fanny packs are back in style and keep the carefree joy of Ultra alive. Download the Ultra app to find out about special guests and surprise appearances at the event.

Transportation & Where to Stay

If you can swing it, staying at a hotel in Downtown Miami or Brickell means you can simply walk to the festival grounds. You can also take advantage of public transportation, like MetroBus, MetroRail and the free MetroMover. Taxis and ride sharing apps like Uber and Lyft are also available.

Ultra Music Festival is an 18 and over event, so bring ID. Single day tickets are not available for the three-day festival, so get excited for a long weekend of partying. Choose from general admission or VIP tickets with prices currently starting at $399.95. Ticket price will increase as the date approaches and the festival often sells out.
