From Venice with Love (Gallery)
Fresh from the 2026 Venice Biennale, Edouard Duval-Carrié brings the pulse of a global crossroads home to Miami Beach. This retrospective at The Betsy Hotel traces decades of artistic exploration, weaving identity, migration, and layered cultural memory into a vivid, celebratory whole. Presented by IPC ArtSpace, FIU's Public Humanities Lab, and the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance.
Love and Belonging: Immigrant Stories (Theater Lobby, Digital Exhibition)
What does it take to belong, and who gets to define it? Artists from the Immigrants & the Arts campaign answer in their own voices, across mediums, generations, and borders. Some works reflect, some wrestle, some inspire, but all are shaped by immigration and by the love of family, community, and place. Led by Americans for Immigrant Justice with FIU's Public Humanities Lab and the Green Family Foundation, this exhibition makes the case that, at a time when immigration is too often met with fear, belonging isn't simply found. It's built, by all of us. As you move through the works, ask yourself: what stays with you, and what are these stories asking of you?
Spirit and Soul (Large Art Room)
From rites of passage to sacred practice to joyful celebration, William Jones explores the rituals that make us who we are. These works show how tradition holds memory, affirms identity, and draws people together, while continually reshaping itself through modernity, migration, and globalization. Moving between personal experience and collective history, *Spirit and Soul* honors our right to remember, celebrate, resist, and transform, and asks what we owe to the traditions we'll pass on.
