Veterans Concert and Community Picnic

Ragtime jazz and patriotic favorites provide the soundtrack for an afternoon honoring veterans at the Coral Gables Merrick House. The Veterans Concert and Community Picnic takes place Sunday, November 8, with live music by Miami’s Top Brass and a flag-raising ceremony at 1:30 p.m. led by Coral Gables Scout Troops 7 and 719.

Guests can bring a blanket and picnic lunch or purchase food from Birdie Bistro on-site. The gathering is presented by the City of Coral Gables Department of Historical Resources and Cultural Arts and the Coral Gables Merrick House Governing Board.
