Viernes Culturales Walking Tour with Dr. Paul George
Through Nov 15, 2025
monthly on the 3rd Saturday
Starting: 7:00 PM
Every third Friday of the month, Little Havana pulses with art, music and community spirit during Viernes Culturales (Cultural Fridays), a monthly street festival that turns the neighborhood into a lively celebration of local culture.
A highlight of the evening is a free walking tour led by Dr. Paul George, resident historian at the HistoryMiami Museum and a longtime fixture of the event, now in his 23rd year of guiding visitors through the area. The tour, which departs from the historic Tower Theatre at 7 p.m., offers insights into Little Havana’s layered history and hidden corners. While the tour is free, donations to support the work of the nonprofit Viernes Culturales are encouraged.
Before or after the tour, explore more than 30 local artists and artisans displaying their work along Calle Ocho. The festival atmosphere continues with live music, street performances and Cuban cuisine from the neighborhood’s many eateries.
