Vizcaya Late: Live Music and Art After Dark
Aug 21, 2026
From: 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Live music, onsite artmaking and hands-on activities fill Vizcaya’s gardens during an after-hours gathering for educators, lifelong learners and curious visitors. The program takes place Friday, August 21 at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Marking more than 70 years of collaboration in education, the evening combines creative programming with opportunities to learn about organizations working in South Florida schools and communities.
Claudens Louis and The CieL Experience will perform throughout the night, while artists Beth Bru, Monica Lopez de Victoria and Destiny Moore create new work onsite. An open-air workshop in the Main Garden led by Miami teaching artists Jevon Brown and Vivian Torres invites guests to take part in the creative process.
Participating organizations include The Education Fund, Miami Waterkeeper, CLEO Institute, Dream in Green and PS 305, with resources, giveaways and interactive activities available at their stations. Teachers receive free admission, and all scheduled activities are included with general admission, though space may be limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from a Vizcaya Café pop-up. The event takes place rain or shine, and portions of the Main House or gardens may be temporarily closed due to ongoing preservation work.
