Vizcaya Summer Fridays

Evening access to Vizcaya’s waterfront gardens pairs sunset views with rotating DJ sets, live art and a relaxed after-hours museum experience. Vizcaya Summer Fridays: DJs, Live Art + Sunsets takes place on select Fridays from May 29 through September 18, extending access to the Main House until 7:30 p.m. and the gardens until 8 p.m. The series offers a less structured way to explore the historic estate, with music, art demonstrations and food and drinks available for purchase from local vendors.

Each evening features a different mix of DJs, artists and vendors. The May 29 opening program includes a DJ set by Nick Data, whose Dreamcasting series reflects his work with Jolt Radio, a Miami-based nonprofit online station focused on independent music. Miami artist Beth Bru will also create a live painting beginning at 7 p.m., bringing her colorful, geometric visual style to the estate in real time.

Event dates are May 29, June 26, July 10, August 7 and September 18. Tickets for evening entry, beginning at 5 p.m., are $18 for adults 13 and older, $10 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. Daytime museum admission includes access to the extended evening hours on Summer Friday dates.
