A guided look at Vizcaya Village reveals the working side of one of Miami’s most significant historic estates. The tour takes place every Sunday from 11 a.m. to noon at Vizcaya Village, located across South Miami Avenue from the Main House and formal gardens. Led by Vizcaya staff, the experience explores the historic farm and village buildings that supported daily life and operations on the Gilded Age estate.
The tour includes the modernized Garage and Superintendent’s House, along with a view of preservation work underway on the remaining original Village buildings. The restoration project is intended to return the Village to active use as a space for education, history and community programs.
Tickets are $6 for adults ages 13 and older, while children 12 and under and Vizcaya members may attend for free. Online registration is required, and tour admission does not include access to the Main House and gardens. Tour guests may also visit the Vizcaya Village Farmers Market, held Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and open to the public at no charge.
