Vizcaya's Urban Farm: A Behind the Scenes Guided Tour

Urban agriculture and Vizcaya’s farming history come into focus during a behind-the-scenes tour of the estate’s growing spaces. The guided program takes place Friday, January 29, at Vizcaya Village and is led by urban agriculturist Quinn Metoyer.

Participants will explore areas not typically open to the public while learning how herbs, vegetables and other edible plants can be cultivated in urban environments. The tour also looks at how green spaces can be repurposed for food production and offers practical context for visitors interested in starting their own urban garden.

The experience includes general admission to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. The program takes place rain or shine and is not recommended for children ages 5 and younger.
