WALLCAST® Concert: The Seven Deadly Sins

The season begins with The Seven Deadly Sins on Saturday, October 19. This program pays tribute to victims of war and fascism through a stark contrast of two iconic works: Viktor Ullmann’s The Kaiser of Atlantis and Kurt Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins. Ullmann’s opera, composed in the harrowing Terezín concentration camp, is a poignant reflection on the human spirit, while Weill’s satirical ballet offers a biting critique of society.

Under the baton of Artistic Director Stéphane Denève and featuring soprano Danielle de Niese, this performance is a must-see.
