West African Dance Class with Delou Africa

West African dance traditions take center stage in a series of movement classes led by Delou Africa at Co-Space in Miami Gardens. The sessions take place September 16, October 21 and November 5, introducing participants to the rhythms, movement vocabulary and communal energy associated with West African dance.

Designed for both newcomers and returning dancers, each class combines instruction with an emphasis on cultural connection and rhythmic movement. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and are encouraged to bring a lappa, wrap skirt or sarong.

Pre-registration is required, and walk-ins are not accepted. Space is limited.
