What Water Remembers: Opening Reception & Open Studios
Nov 18, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Gallery viewing and visits to working artists’ studios come together at Oolite Arts for an evening exploring water, history and memory. The opening reception for What Water Remembers takes place Wednesday, November 18 in Miami Beach, alongside Open Studios offering opportunities to meet resident artists and see their workspaces.
Curated by Sara Cluggish, the exhibition brings together eight artists examining how waterways carry stories of migration, colonialism, extraction and environmental change. Participating artists include Miya Ando, Ayesha Hameed, Adelita Husni-Bey, Saodat Ismailova, Lee Pivnik, Beatriz Santiago Muñoz, Juana Valdés and Agustina Woodgate.
The reception is free and open to the public at 924 Lincoln Road, with RSVP available through Oolite Arts. The exhibition remains on view through February 7, 2027.
