Learn about one of Florida’s most iconic marine animals through hands-on activities and expert insights in a free, family-friendly outdoor program.
Wild Florida: Manatees takes place on Friday, May 30 at Doral Glades Park. This educational event is the first installment of the City of Doral's new Wild Florida series, which highlights native wildlife and conservation topics. Participants will have the chance to examine a real manatee skull and explore the biology, habitat and behavior of these gentle aquatic mammals, as well as current efforts to protect them in Florida waters.
