Wildlife Kayak Adventure

A guided paddle through Biscayne Bay offers an up-close look at Deering Estate’s coastal ecosystems.

Wildlife Kayak Adventure takes place March 15, April 26 and May 17, departing from the Estate’s boat basin. Led by experienced guides, the tour explores seagrass beds and mangrove forests, with opportunities to spot birds, fish and other native wildlife above and below the water. The route is designed for intermediate paddlers and emphasizes quiet observation within a protected natural setting.

Participants should wear closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for getting wet, and are encouraged to bring water, snacks and insect repellent. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

The program is $50 per person and includes general admission to Deering Estate during regular hours (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) on the day of the tour. Open to adults 18 and older, or ages 9 and up with an accompanying adult. All participants should arrive at the Visitor Center 15 minutes prior to the program start time.
