World Ocean Day: Special Edition Sunrise Sound Healing

Sunrise sound healing by the ocean offers a calm start to the morning during the World Ocean Celebration lineup. Presented by Blue Scholars Initiative in collaboration with ARTSail and the Miami Sound Institute, this special edition session takes place Friday, June 5 on Miami Beach, between 2nd and 3rd streets near the shore at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Ocean Beach Park. The gathering connects mindfulness, sound and the coastal setting as part of the lead-up to World Ocean Day.
Participants can expect gentle movement, breathwork and a sound meditation using instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, shamanic drums, flutes and didgeridoo. Set against the morning waves and sunrise, the session is designed to support relaxation, reflection and connection with the ocean environment.
Guests are encouraged to bring a beach towel or blanket, sun protection and an open mind. A bathing suit is also recommended for those who want to swim before or after the session.
