Yo-Yo Ma and Solon Gordon

Yo-Yo Ma returns to the Knight Concert Hall for a recital with pianist Solon Gordon as part of the Arsht Center’s classical season. The performance takes place Sunday, January 10 at 3 p.m. at the Adrienne Arsht Center. The program has not yet been announced, but the concert marks Ma’s first appearance at the venue since 2018.

Widely regarded as one of the world’s leading cellists, Ma has built a six-decade career defined by technical mastery, artistic curiosity and a broad view of music’s cultural role. His discography spans more than 120 albums, from Bach’s cello suites to cross-genre collaborations such as The Goat Rodeo Sessions, and he has received 20 Grammy Awards.

Ma will perform with young American pianist Solon Gordon, an accompanist known for refined, expressive musicianship. The concert is part of the Arsht Center’s 2026-2027 Classical Music Series, which brings leading international artists and ensembles to the Knight Concert Hall.
