As summer winds down, the days get shorter – but the same can’t be said for Greater Miami and Miami Beach's list of events in September. No matter what your style is, there’s a ton to put on your calendar this month. Check out a local college or pro football game. Celebrate Latin music and reggae. Catch a celebrated touring act. Proceeds from OpenTable reservations booked on the Miami Spice website will contribute to relief efforts for those affected by the tragedy in Surfside.

Witness a captivating performance by Elena Maria Garcia as she depicts more than 20 characters in ¡Fuácata! A Latina’s Guide to Surviving the Universe. This one-woman show blends humor, drama and social commentary in a nuanced look at the lives of Latinas.

FIU Football vs. Long Island

Orange Blossom Classic

After an absence of over 40 years, the Orange Blossom Classic returns to celebrate the legacy of athletes from Historically Black Colleges and Universities – and showcase some thrilling college football – over Labor Day Weekend. Catch concerts and other festivities all weekend long, culminating with the big game – Florida A&M vs. Jackson State.

Florida Supercon

Miami Beach Pride

September 10-19

Nobody does Pride like Miami Beach. Don’t believe us? See for yourself at the Miami Beach Pride festival. The 10-day fest spans multiple venues with diverse events, including the SOAK Pool Party, the Queer Art Showcase, rooftop parties, the two-day Pride Festival at Lummus Park and, of course, the Sunday Pride Parade on September 19.

UM Football vs. Appalachian State

Hasan Minhaj: The King’s Jester
