The Greater North Miami Chamber is one of the original Chambers in the Northeast Miami-Dade area. As one of the oldest Chambers of Commerce the The Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1947 by Bill and Penny Valentine. Since its creation the Chamber has supported the economic growth and development of the City of North Miami and the Northeast Miami-Dade area at large. The Chamber is known for hosting monthly large networking events, workshops and town hall meetings. The Chamber's annual food festival, The Taste of North Miami, has become one of the largest food and wine festivals in the area. Currently the Greater North Miami Chamber has an estimated membership of over 400 businesses.
