Built in 1925, the Millard-McCarty House has largely preserved its original Pueblo Revival style, characteristic of Miami Springs. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and designated a Miami Springs Historic Site in 1989, the property features a tiled central courtyard, a round fountain, a two-story garage apartment and a rear porch with five screened arches. The buildings form an L-shape, enclosed by an irregular five-foot wall with a round-arched doorway, flat roofs, prominent water spouts and a cypress door.
