Located in South Dade's historic Redland region, Fruit & Spice Park is a 37-acre tropical botanical garden offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the agricultural heritage and natural beauty of Greater Miami. Established in 1944 and surrounded by thousands of acres of tropical farmland, the park is the only tropical botanical garden of its kind in the United States, featuring more than 500 varieties of exotic fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, nuts and other plants from around the world.

Explore a Tropical Paradise

Wander along scenic pathways and boardwalks surrounded by lush tropical greenery, towering fruit trees, tranquil ponds and waterfalls. Discover an extraordinary collection of tropical plants, including mangos, avocados, bananas, papayas, lychees, jackfruit and other exotic varieties. Visitors are welcome to sample edible fruit that has naturally fallen from the trees, offering a unique opportunity to experience the flavors of South Florida's agricultural landscape.

Guided Tours and Tastings

Explore the park aboard a guided tram tour, offered daily at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., weather permitting and included with admission. For a more interactive experience, daily tasting tours are offered at noon and 3 p.m. for an additional fee, allowing guests to discover seasonal fruits and learn about the park's diverse plant collections.

Private group tours and specialty experiences are also available by advance reservation, including horticultural tours and educational programs.

Events and Experiences

Throughout the year, Fruit & Spice Park hosts festivals, educational workshops, seasonal celebrations and special events highlighting the region's agricultural traditions and tropical biodiversity. Fruit & Spice Park offers flexible indoor and outdoor event spaces suitable for intimate meetings, corporate functions and larger celebrations. The historic Bauer-Neill-Mitchell House accommodates up to 45 guests and features tables, chairs, a television, kitchen and patio area. The air-conditioned Citrus House accommodates up to 50 guests and provides a comfortable setting for meetings, workshops and private gatherings.

For larger events, the park's Tropical and Paradise rental spaces offer picturesque surroundings featuring a waterfall, herb garden and lush tropical landscapes. These outdoor venues accommodate up to 250 guests, making them ideal for corporate receptions, company celebrations, networking events and private functions.

Group Tours and Team-Building Experiences

Meeting planners can enhance their events with private guided tours, seasonal fruit tastings and interactive educational experiences. Specialty activities include horticultural tours, botanical workshops, tropical fruit exploration and other hands-on programs designed to connect attendees with the park's unique environment.

Private group tours are available by advance reservation, with discounted booking rates for groups of 35 or more guests. The park also offers customizable event packages that combine venue rentals with guided activities and group experiences.
