This full-time, on-site leadership role supports the Venue Director in overseeing daily audiovisual operations, event execution, team development, equipment management, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is an experienced event technology professional and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role combines technical event support with team management, operational planning, vendor coordination, inventory oversight, and exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership throughout all phases of event execution while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
• Ensure the timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment and events.
• Maintain equipment inventory, functionality, organization, and availability.
• Assist the Venue Director with budget management, revenue growth, expense control, labor, and equipment sub-rentals.
• Train, manage, coach, and develop team members in accordance with company standards.
• Build strong relationships with equipment rental and labor vendors.
• Manage accurate and timely event and client billing.
• Create and process purchase orders and vendor invoices.
• Attend hotel meetings as necessary and collaborate with hotel teams.
• Provide technical support for events.
• Maintain knowledge of current audiovisual industry trends, tools, and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of event technology experience in a hospitality environment.
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated managerial experience.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
