Chili's Shift Manager II - Miami International Airport

Join the HMSHost team as a Chili's Shift Manager II at Miami International Airport. This position supports daily restaurant operations, supervises team members, and helps ensure a high standard of customer service, food safety, and operational efficiency.

The Shift Manager II works closely with restaurant leadership to oversee daily activities, coordinate staffing, maintain restaurant standards, and create a positive experience for guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise associates and support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with day-to-day restaurant activities.
• Assist with employee scheduling, task assignments, and shift coverage.
• Participate in employee interviews and provide recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including responsible alcohol service and cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked dining and service areas.
• Monitor restaurant equipment and ensure it remains in proper working condition.
• Oversee cash transactions and maintain appropriate cash security procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, wellness, and workplace safety standards.
• Manage product orders, receive deliveries, and process invoices.
• Ensure employees receive required meal periods and rest breaks.
• Support a positive and efficient work environment while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in food and beverage operations, cash handling, and customer service.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a casual dining restaurant or production kitchen.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local health, sanitation, and safety regulations, including HACCP standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including opening shifts, peak dining periods, and closing shifts.
