Aaron Merritt & Tao Lin in Recital

Cellist Aaron Merritt and pianist Tao Lin join forces for an intimate recital featuring expressive works by Beethoven, Vierne, Cassadó and Boulanger. Set inside the historic Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Miami, the performance offers audiences a rare opportunity to hear these accomplished musicians interpret a program rich in emotion and musical depth.

Aaron Merritt & Tao Lin in Recital, presented by Orchestra Miami, takes place on Sunday, June 8. The evening’s repertoire includes Beethoven’s Sonata in G Minor, Op. 5 No. 2 and Louis Vierne’s Sonata in B Minor, Op. 27, alongside Requiebros by Gaspar Cassadó and Nocturne by Lili Boulanger. Merritt, principal cellist of Orchestra Miami, and Lin, a Steinway Artist known for his wide-ranging repertoire and interpretive skill, will explore both classical structure and romantic expression throughout the performance.

General admission is $30, with VIP seating available for $50 and student tickets offered at $10 with valid ID. All guests are invited to a post-concert drinks reception with the artists. Proceeds benefit Orchestra Miami, and donations exceeding the ticket price are fully tax-deductible. Complimentary parking is available in the church lot, with additional options nearby.
