A family-friendly celebration rooted in community, creativity and connection unfolds at Fruit & Spice Park in Homestead in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.
Adventure Day: Celebrating MLK centers on togetherness and shared experiences, inviting families to spend the day exploring the park’s lush gardens while reflecting on Dr. King’s enduring message of service and unity. The program features hands-on activities for children, interactive learning stations, and guided garden tours highlighting seasonal plantings throughout the park. Family photo areas offer space to capture meaningful moments, with popcorn, snow cones, and specialty food trucks available for purchase.
Adventure Day: Celebrating MLK takes place Monday, January 19. Reduced admission is offered for the day, with tickets available upon arrival. Museum passes are welcome.
