Afrobeta

A Caribbean-inflected evening of live music, food and drink animates the Miami Design District with a performance by AfroBeta.

Held Friday, February 6, Afrobeta brings the Miami-based electronic duo to the District for a live set blending Afro-Caribbean rhythms with funk, electronic and Latin influences. The program is complemented by Trinidadian cuisine and Caribbean-inspired cocktails, creating a relaxed, festive atmosphere centered on music, movement and shared cultural expression.

The event takes place in conjunction with Zak Ové’s public art installation J’OUVERT, on view in Jungle Plaza. Ové’s monumental sculptures transform the plaza into an immersive landscape where Afrofuturist imagination, ancestral memory and ritual intersect, providing a powerful visual and cultural backdrop for the evening’s celebration of Caribbean sound and community.
