All Beethoven with Kemal Gekic

The FIU Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts opens its 2025–2026 season with an all-Beethoven program featuring acclaimed pianist Kemal Gekic at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center. Taking place on Friday, September 26, the evening begins with the majestic Consecration of the House Overture and continues with Beethoven’s beloved Piano Concerto No. 5, the “Emperor.” The concert closes on a grand scale with the Choral Fantasy, uniting orchestra, chorus and solo piano in a stirring finale.
