Trumpeter Anthony Hervey brings his dynamic sound and New York jazz sensibility to Coral Gables for the third installment of the Community Arts Program (CAP) 2025 Summer Concert Series. Praised by Wynton Marsalis as “a beautiful trumpet player of the first magnitude,” Hervey leads a group of fellow musicians in an evening of bold, expressive performance.
He takes the stage on Thursday, July 10 at Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ. Named a Grammy “Emerging Artist to Know,” Hervey is known for inventive improvisation and deep musicality—qualities that shine in the series’ intimate setting just across from the historic Biltmore Hotel.
Now celebrating its 40th season, the CAP Summer Concert Series continues every other Thursday with upcoming performances by Leland Ko (July 24), Ken Peplowski (August 7) and Tyreek McDole (August 21).
