AQUA Art Miami

Emerging and mid-career artists fill the rooms, courtyard and exterior spaces of a classic South Beach hotel during Aqua Art Miami’s 20th year. Running December 2–6 at Aqua Hotel & Suites in Miami Beach, the Miami Art Week fair brings together international galleries in an intimate hotel-room format designed for discovering contemporary work and engaging directly with exhibitors.

The 2026 edition includes a new large-scale exterior mural by Shepard Fairey, who will transform the hotel’s Collins Avenue façade and perform a DJ set during the VIP Preview on Wednesday, December 2. Fairey is also the recipient of the 2026 Art Miami Lifetime Visionary Award. Inside the property, artist Michael Gitter is scheduled to create a life-size tree sculpture in the courtyard.

Participating galleries and artists represent cities across the U.S. and abroad, with exhibitors from Miami, Miami Beach, New York, Buenos Aires, Paris, Shanghai, Istanbul, Zürich and other art centers. Among the Miami participants is multidisciplinary artist Marcus Blake, whose work spans painting, street art, collage and performance and is known for the vivid geometric patterns he calls “Tapenology.” The fair maintains its focus on young, emerging and mid-career artists, with exhibition rooms opening onto the Aqua Hotel courtyard to create a more intimate alternative to larger convention-hall fairs.
