Nov 15, 2025
From: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Conversations on fiber art, identity and creative process take center stage at The CAMP Gallery as three exhibiting artists share insights from this year’s edition of Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse.
The Artist Talk: RemiJin Camping, Lisa Rockford, Rosa Henriquez takes place Saturday, November 15 at The CAMP Gallery, offering an in-depth look at how each artist approached the theme Don’t Be Absurd. The roundtable discussion highlights RemiJin Camping’s photographic explorations of memory and emotion, Lisa Rockford’s multidisciplinary practice shaped by her background in painting and art therapy, and Rosa Henriquez’s textile-based work rooted in culture and identity. The talk will also stream on Instagram Live via @thecampgallery.
Visitors are invited to stay for POP UP POETRY MIA, with readings from 4 to 7 p.m. responding to the more than 100 works featured in the exhibition. The afternoon blends conversation, visual art and poetry for a fuller look at the ideas guiding this year’s show.
