Artist Talk: Woosler Delisfort & Carl-Philippe Juste
Oct 17, 2026
From: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Photography, visual art and performance frame a conversation about artistic expression and censorship at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Presented Saturday, October 17 by FIU’s Public Humanities Lab, the program brings together artists Woosler Delisfort and Carl-Philippe Juste for a discussion examining the role of creative work during periods of social and cultural constraint.
The afternoon also includes a performance by A’Keitha Carey, extending the conversation through movement and live expression. The program is presented in conjunction with Sanctuary: Our Sacred Space, an exhibition exploring themes of identity, memory and community.
The event is supported by the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance, IPC ArtSpace, iWitness, the FIU Public Humanities Lab, the Pérez Family Foundation and The Miami Foundation through the CreARTE program.
