Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida: The Nutcracker Gala

Tchaikovsky’s holiday ballet returns with dancing snowflakes, the Waltz of the Flowers and the Sugar Plum Fairy in a production by Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida. The annual performance takes place Thursday, December 10 at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, marking the company’s 29th anniversary staging of The Nutcracker.

Artistic Director Vladimir Issaev leads the production, which combines classical choreography with elaborate costumes, theatrical scenery and the familiar story of a young girl’s journey into a fantastical world. A complimentary 30-minute pre-show discussion will explore the ballet’s history, music, choreography and production for ticketed patrons.

VIP tickets include preferred seating, one drink voucher and a commemorative gift. Latecomers will not be admitted until intermission.
