Aversed, Pathogenic & More

Boston metal bands Aversed and Pathogenic headline a night of melodic, progressive and technical death metal at Churchill’s Pub in Little Haiti. Presented Sunday, October 11 by Minotaur Booking, the bill pairs the two visiting acts with South Florida support from Inhumane Deception, Inscribed and Amen Orr Head, plus DJ Lady Reaper.

Aversed combines melodic death metal with progressive and gothic elements, balancing aggressive riffing and harsh vocals with more atmospheric passages. The band’s 2025 album, Erasure of Color, followed its earlier full-length Impermanent and expanded its sound with darker, more technical arrangements. Pathogenic brings a progressive technical death-metal approach heard on its 2025 album Crowned in Corpses, the band’s first full-length release in more than five years.

Doors open at 7 p.m., with music beginning at 8 p.m. Advance and door pricing varies by age, with under-21 admission available at the door.
