Bab L'Bluz
Apr 12, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
A fusion of North African tradition and psychedelic rock shapes the sound of Bab L’Bluz, blending trance rhythms, Gnawa grooves and fuzz-driven guitar. The group performs Sunday, April 12 at the Miami Beach Bandshell. Presented by the Rhythm Foundation, the concert marks the band’s Florida debut.
Formed by Moroccan singer and guembri player Yousra Mansour and French guitarist and producer Brice Bottin, Bab L’Bluz draws from Gnawa music alongside the analog textures of 1960s and 70s psych rock. Joined by Jérôme Bartholomé and Hafid Zouaoui, the group gained international attention with its debut album on Peter Gabriel’s Real World Records and has since expanded its audience through festival appearances and touring, including recent performances in the United States.
