Bill Baggs March Park Cleanup
Mar 14, 2026
From: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Volunteers gather along the shoreline to help preserve one of South Florida’s most scenic coastal parks during a community cleanup at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne. The Bill Baggs March Park Cleanup takes place Sunday, March 14, as part of ongoing stewardship efforts supported by Miami Climate Week.
Participants assist with removing litter from the park’s beaches and grounds, helping protect wildlife habitats and maintain the natural landscape for visitors. Cleanup materials such as buckets, bags, pickers and sifters are provided.
The volunteer effort is part of a recurring monthly cleanup program held at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, sunscreen and insect repellent. Park entry fees will be waived for participants who notify the ranger station upon arrival.
The group meets at Shelter B10 in Area B, located at the first picnic shelter on the left after the second left turn past the ranger station. Volunteer service recognition letters are available upon request after the event.
