A landmark bare knuckle boxing event brings multiple championship bouts and an international fight card to downtown Miami.
BKB Evolution takes place on Saturday, January 31 at the James L. Knight Center, marking the 50th live event presented by BKB, the Miami-founded bare knuckle boxing organization. The program features several world title fights alongside appearances by local and international fighters.
The main event crowns the inaugural BKB Super Featherweight Champion as Miami-based Alberto “El Indio” Blas faces former BKB Featherweight Champion Brandon “Slaughterhouse” Birr. Blas enters the bout undefeated, with all of his victories coming by first-round knockout, while Birr brings prior championship experience to the matchup. In the co-main event, reigning BKB Women’s Welterweight Champion Jamie Driver defends her title against Brazil’s Bianca Diamoni. Another championship bout sees BKB Men’s Welterweight Champion Javon Wright put his belt on the line against undefeated English contender Dan Gittens. The card also includes a fight for the vacant BKB Super Flyweight Championship between Cecy Ulloa of Mexico and Nelsy Torres of Cuba.
Additional bouts feature a mix of established and emerging fighters, including appearances by Jose Fernandez, Gustavo Trujillo and other competitors from across the United States, Latin America and Europe. Founded in Miami in 2014, BKB has played a central role in establishing regulated bare knuckle boxing in the U.S., with events now broadcast internationally.
