Calibro 35: Italian Hit Week

Experience a night of genre-blending soundtracks and cinematic funk as Calibro 35 brings their signature style to the Miami Beach Bandshell for the 2025 edition of Italian Hit Week. Known for reimagining the golden age of Italian film scores, the Milan-based ensemble performs live set to classic Italian films.

Calibro 35 at Italian Hit Week takes place Saturday, October 18. Part of an annual showcase of contemporary Italian music, this free concert highlights the band’s expansive career, which includes eight albums and acclaimed soundtracks such as the series Blanca. Their music has been sampled by artists like Jay-Z and Dr. Dre and they’ve shared stages with performers ranging from Sharon Jones to Thundercat.

Opening the evening is Colombian-Italian-Swiss artist Joan Thiele, whose mix of indie, electronic and pop reflects the diverse energy of Italy’s current music scene. Italian Hit Week is presented by Rhythm Foundation and Mela, with support from the Italian Trade Commission.
