Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics
Oct 24, 2026
Two performances: 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM
String quartet renditions of Halloween-themed music are performed by candlelight at the Scottish Rite Temple, creating an atmospheric concert experience centered on suspense, drama and familiar cinematic scores. The event takes place Saturday, October 24, with two evening performances scheduled. Part of the Candlelight concert series, the program pairs classical works with contemporary selections associated with film, television and popular culture.
The program includes pieces such as “Thriller,” themes from The Exorcist, Halloween, Stranger Things and The Addams Family, alongside classical compositions like Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain. Performed by the Listeso String Quartet, the arrangements reinterpret these works through a chamber music format.
Seating is assigned by section on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone. The event is open to guests ages eight and older.
