Candlelight: Coldplay & Imagine Dragons at Trinity Episcopal

Music and candlelight fill the historic halls of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral during a series of intimate performances that illuminate the landmark’s soaring architecture and serene atmosphere.

Chart-topping anthems by Coldplay and Imagine Dragons are reinterpreted through live, candlelit string arrangements inside a historic downtown cathedral.

Candlelight: Coldplay & Imagine Dragons takes place at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, where the Collins Quartet presents a 60-minute concert under the soft glow of candlelight. The performance translates contemporary pop and alternative rock into classical string interpretations, emphasizing melody, harmony and emotional tone within the cathedral’s vaulted, acoustically resonant space.

The program draws from across both bands’ catalogs, featuring recognizable selections that highlight Coldplay’s expansive songwriting alongside Imagine Dragons’ rhythmic, anthemic sound. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, February 28, with showtimes at 6:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to each performance, and late entry is not permitted once the concert begins. Seating is assigned on a first come, first served basis within each zone. The event is open to guests ages 8 and older, and the venue is ADA accessible.
