Candlelight: Tribute to Juan Gabriel on Strings

Songs by Juan Gabriel are reinterpreted through live, candlelit string arrangements inside a historic Miami performance space.

Candlelight: Tribute to Juan Gabriel on Strings is presented at the Scottish Rite Temple, where the Collins Quartet performs a 60-minute concert under the glow of candlelight. The program translates the iconic songwriter’s ranchera and pop repertoire into classical string interpretations, emphasizing melody, emotion and lyrical expression within the temple’s grand interior.

Selections include “Querida,” “Amor Eterno,” “Así Fue,” “Abrázame Muy Fuerte,” “No Tengo Dinero” and “El Noa Noa,” among other well-known songs from Juan Gabriel’s catalog. The performance takes place Saturday, March 7, with doors opening one hour prior to showtime. Seating is assigned on a first come, first served basis within each zone, and late entry is not permitted once the concert begins. The event is open to guests ages 8 and older; please note that the venue is not ADA accessible.
