Miami house artist and event curator Atomyard marks the night with a late-running gathering at MAD Radio. Celebrating Atomyard: Atomyard & Friends takes place Friday, July 24 at the MiMo District venue. The event includes free entry before 10 p.m., free entry for ladies until midnight and happy hour from 8 to 10 p.m.
A Colombian-born, Miami-based DJ, producer and recording artist, Atomyard is known for an organic, upbeat approach to house music and for helping shape Miami’s underground electronic music scene beyond traditional club settings. His work includes co-founding Speaker Box Productions with Kike Roldan, as well as co-creating boat and island party concepts such as Castaway and On-Deck.
Located within the Gold Dust / Selina Motel property, MAD Radio pairs an intimate indoor dance floor with an outdoor lounge overlooking the canal. The venue’s Danley Sound Labs system, close DJ booth setup and open-air areas create a relaxed setting for a music-focused night with Atomyard and friends.
