Changes: Reflections on Time & Space
Through Jan 10, 2026
weekly on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
From: Noon to 5:00 PM
An exhibition marking two decades of artistic dialogue unfolds at Spinello Projects as works drawn from the gallery’s past converge with new and recent pieces by the same artists. Framed around ideas of memory, transformation and the passage of time, the presentation reflects how creative practices and the cultural landscape surrounding them, shift across years of shared history.
Changes: Reflections on Time & Space, on view December 1 through January 10, gathers fifteen artists whose relationships with Spinello Projects span much of its twenty-year trajectory. The exhibition pairs earlier works collected by founder Anthony Spinello with current pieces, creating a conversation between different moments in each artist’s practice. Taken together, these juxtapositions chart an evolving sense of place and community, as well as the social and personal contexts that informed the works’ making.
Participating artists include Farley Aguilar, Esai Alfredo, Eddie Arroyo, Bernadette Despujols, Nereida Garcia-Ferraz, Elliot & Erick Jimenez, Kris Knight, Sinisa Kukec, Jared McGriff, Reginald O’Neal, Marlon Portales, Nina Surel, Naama Tsabar and Agustina Woodgate. Presented during Miami Art Week and continuing into the new year, the exhibition offers a multigenerational portrait of Miami’s creative ecosystem through the lens of a gallery that has shaped, and been shaped by, the city’s artistic community since 2005.
