This event has passed.
Immerse yourself in an afternoon of classical masterpieces performed by one of America's most promising pianists in an elegant historic setting. CHOPIN Salons: William Yang takes place on Sunday, March 23, at the Miami Beach Woman's Club, presented by the Chopin Foundation of the United States.
This inaugural salon features the exceptional talents of William Yang, first-prize winner of the 2025 National Chopin Piano Competition. At just 23 years old, Yang has already established himself as a remarkable artist, earning the competition's $100,000 prize along with special recognition for his interpretations of Chopin's mazurkas and sonatas.
The program showcases Yang's versatility through a thoughtfully curated selection of works by Bach and Chopin. Attendees will experience Bach's Partita No. 1 in Bb Major, followed by several of Chopin's most celebrated compositions, including the Polonaise-Fantaisie in A-flat major, two Nocturnes and the technically demanding Sonata No. 3 in B minor.
Following the performance, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary wine reception. An optional elegant catered dinner provides an opportunity to interact with the artist in a more intimate setting while connecting with fellow music enthusiasts.
Yang's impressive credentials include performances with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra and the Minnesota Orchestra. Currently a Kovner Fellow at The Juilliard School studying under Robert McDonald, he previously trained at the Curtis Institute of Music.
General admission tickets for the concert and wine reception are available for $50, while the full experience including dinner is priced at $125 per person, with all taxes and service fees included.
The historic Miami Beach Woman's Club provides a sophisticated backdrop for this cultural offering, combining architectural charm with exceptional acoustics for an enhanced listening experience.
