Doors open: 6:30 PM | Show starts: 7:30 PM
Chromeo closes the Rhythm of the Cup series with an electro-funk concert at the Miami Beach Bandshell. The show takes place Friday, July 17, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the performance at 7:30 p.m. Presented by GMP Live and Dayglo, the concert lands the night before the FIFA World Cup Bronze Medal match.
Formed in Montreal by David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel, Chromeo is known for a glossy mix of funk, disco, synth-pop and dance music built around guitar, talk box, keyboards and playful grooves. The duo broke through with tracks such as “Needy Girl” and “Fancy Footwork” and has continued to develop its sound across albums including White Women, Head Over Heels and 2024’s Adult Contemporary.
The Miami Beach performance serves as the finale of Rhythm of the Cup, a series of community watch parties and live concerts celebrating the global spirit of the tournament. Guests can expect a dance-forward live show in the Bandshell’s open-air covered setting.
